Overview
A civil war broke out in the 1950s between South and North Korea which changed the country. 71: in to the Fire centres on the struggles. Using real people and events dependent on the opening moves of the Battle of P'ohang-dong, the film reveals the physical and personal conflicts that these students faced when finding themselves on the last point of defense in P'ohang-dong Girl's Middle School contrary to the NKPA's advancement, the need to holdout before straight back from additional Korean troops and also the Allies arrived.
