Naoko and aki are childhood friends that are drifting apart as adults. Immersed in her family life, Naoko currently features girl and a partner. Aki, alternatively, remains unmarried and is about to leave from work due to a private tragedy. The plot might seem familiar but it's never been told like that. The director Kusano Natsuka stages the connections through an celebrities' table-read and, as the traces are replicated , the scenes grow into on-location conversations. Furthermore, she repositions the stunning peak of this narrative to first: the daughter of Naoko has been murdered by Aki.
