The Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man is the inspiration for Iron Man: Armored Adventures, a 3-D computer-generated animation series. It premiered on the Nicktoons network in the United States on April24,2009, and is now showing on Teletoon in Canada. It broadcast on Nickelodeon from July 4 through September 12, 2009, as Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Aside from Wolverine and the X-Men, showrunner Christopher Yost has worked on a slew of other Marvel Animation projects, including this one. The animated film The Invincible Iron Man(2007) has no relation to the television show, which has a separate voice cast but shares some story themes and portions of the film's music. After the popularity of the live-action Iron Man film, the first Iron Man TV series since 1994–1996 was aired. The story follows the exploits of Tony Stark, a young genius who takes on the superhero identity of Iron Man. As Iron Man, he battles a variety of technologically advanced foes with the help of his own creations. On his daring and perilous excursions, James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Pepper Potts support him.
